World premiere of “Rest of our Lives” – played live for the first time
a festival for the whole town
On 24 July 2026, Bad Ems celebrated exactly five years as part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “Great Spa Towns of Europe” – with a summer festival at the newly restored Quellenturm. We supported the City of Bad Ems with organisation, artist booking, promotion and PR. And we brought the headliner to Bad Ems ourselves: London singer-songwriter Benedict Cork.
Cork, whom Sir Elton John called “sensational” and who has opened for Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie, among others, came to the river Lahn in the middle of his album preview tour between New York, Los Angeles, Berlin and Amsterdam – and played the world premiere of “Rest of our Lives”, the support song for Superhelden fliegen vor written by Mirko Klos. Proof that international artists do come to small towns and rural regions when you approach them the right way.
