The project

For three days, Bad Ems became Jacques Offenbach’s town once again: theatre, an international singing competition, concerts, talks and film in the historic halls of the UNESCO World Heritage town. For the Jacques Offenbach Society and the City of Bad Ems, we developed the complete artwork from scratch, built the website, handled all press and public relations and supported ticketing.

Several hundred visitors came to the “Overture to the Offenbachiade”. All events were well attended to fully booked, and the closing concert with the Rhineland-Palatinate State Youth Orchestra at the Kurtheater was sold out. From 2027, the Offenbachiade will continue as a multi-year festival.
