For years she has been on stages all over Germany. Millions know her face. No one has ever heard her with a song of her own. Until now.
Catherrine Leclery – known to audiences worldwide from ProSieben shows such as “Germany’s Next Top Model” and “Queen of Drags” – has built one of the most iconic careers in German drag culture without ever releasing a song of her own. Every performance: entirely to playback. Every stage moment: with borrowed music.
On 27 March 2026, that changed.
At a secret sneak preview party, Catherrine performed her very first own song live for the first time – in front of invited guests and accompanied by Stern TV cameras.
The song was not written by a conventional songwriter. It was not recorded in a traditional studio. It was created entirely with artificial intelligence – by Eliah GOGO, a creative AI studio based in Germany.
What is Catherrine AI?
Catherrine AI is a fully developed digital artist – a virtual creative identity created to give Catherrine Leclery something she never had before: a voice of her own.
The project combines three elements:
– An AI-generated vocal identity – a synthetic voice tuned specifically to the emotional tone and personality of Catherrine’s stage character
– Original songwriting – lyrics, melody and musical concept written by Mirko Klos, produced and rendered with generative AI tools
– A digital avatar – a visual AI representation of Catherrine that performs the music on screen, in music videos and on social platforms
The result is a new kind of creative entity: part real person, part digital artist. Catherrine Leclery still performs live as she always has – in full drag, entirely to playback. But now the music she performs is her own.
Why it matters – AI music as a new art form
There is a lot of debate right now about what AI-generated music means for creativity, authenticity and the future of art. Most of that debate, however, is heading in the wrong direction.
AI music is not a threat to creativity. It is a new medium – just as photography was when it emerged in the 19th century, and just as electronic music was in the 20th. And like every new medium, it doesn’t create quality by itself. It needs real artists behind it.
The internet is already flooded with AI-generated content that sounds like everything and means nothing. Tracks without identity. Visuals without soul. Content mass-produced and destined to disappear.
Catherrine AI is the opposite.
Every song was written for a specific person – for her character, her world, her audience. The AI tools were used to realise a human creative vision, not to replace it. The result is music that couldn’t exist without both: the human vision and the machine’s precision.
That’s what we believe AI creativity should look like.
How we developed Catherrine AI – the process
Step 1: Finding the voice
The first challenge was the most fundamental: Catherrine had never sung. There was no vocal template, no existing recording we could build on. We used Suno AI to develop a completely new synthetic vocal identity – experimenting with pitch, timbre and emotional range until we found something that matched Catherrine’s essence on stage.
Step 2: Writing the songs
Once the voice existed, we could write for it. Mirko Klos – founder of Eliah GOGO and creative director behind this project – wrote the first songs specifically for Catherrine: lyrics, melody and musical concept were developed around her character, her humour and her drama.
Production was done entirely with AI tools, through many iterations and refinements, until every track felt finished – not generated, but handcrafted.
Step 3: The digital artist
Catherrine AI is not just a voice. She is a complete visual identity: an AI-generated avatar who presents the music in music videos, social media content and digital campaigns. The virtual Catherrine can appear anywhere, anytime, in any context – no scheduling, no production costs, no limits.
The sneak preview – 27 March 2026

The first public appearance of Catherrine AI took place on 27 March 2026 at a small sneak preview party. The invited guests heard the song live for the first time – performed by the real Catherrine, in full drag, to her own AI-produced music.
The evening was accompanied by a Stern TV film crew.
It was a historic moment in every sense: one of Germany’s best-known drag performers performed her own original song for the first time in her career – made possible entirely by artificial intelligence.
What Catherrine AI means for brands and artists
The Catherrine AI project is a proof of concept – but also a blueprint.
Any brand, artist or creative institution can now get:
– A completely original musical identity – without a recording studio or record deal
– A virtual brand ambassador – with full creative control over voice, look and content
– A scalable digital personality – releasing music, appearing in videos and building an audience across all platforms at once
Virtual artists don’t cancel gigs. They don’t have sick days. They don’t lose relevance with age. They grow with your brand, in whatever direction you choose.
This isn’t the future. Catherrine AI is already here.
